What people ask before they book
The same nine questions come up on nearly every call. Here they are answered in full, so you can skip them and get to your job.

01What does the quote cost?Nothing. Survey, measure, drawings if you need them, written price — all free, and yours to take to another firm if you want a second opinion.
02Can the price change?Only if you change what you want, or we open a wall and find something nobody could have seen. Either way it is priced and signed before we carry on.
03Do you want money up front?No deposit on jobs under a week. On bigger work you pay for materials at the start and the rest in stages against work already done — never in advance of it.
04Who is actually in my house?Our own trades, named on your job sheet before day one, same faces to the end. No agency labour, no different van every morning.
05How much mess is there?Plenty while it is happening. Sheets and dust boards go down daily, the skip is ours, and the house is swept before we leave each evening.
06Can we live in it?Usually yes. We work room by room and keep a kitchen and a bathroom running. On a full rewire the power is off for a day at a time, no more.
07What if something fails later?Ring the same number and the same people come back out — the crew that did it, not a claims line.
08How far do you travel?All of London and roughly an hour out — Herts, Surrey, Kent, Essex. If you are further, say so on the call and we will tell you straight.
09What paperwork do I get?Certificates, building control sign-off and the itemised final account — handed over on the last day.
