Nothing. Survey, measure, drawings if you need them, written price — all free, and yours to take to another firm if you want a second opinion.
Only if you change what you want, or we open a wall and find something nobody could have seen. Either way we stop, show you and price it in writing — nothing reaches the final bill that you have not agreed.
No deposit on jobs under a week. On bigger work you pay for materials at the start and the rest in stages against work already done — never in advance of it.
Our own trades, named on your job sheet before day one, same faces to the end. No agency labour, no different van every morning.
Plenty while it is happening. Sheets and dust boards go down daily, the skip is ours, and the house is swept before we leave each evening.
Usually yes. We work room by room and keep a kitchen and a bathroom running. On a full rewire the power is off for a day at a time, no more.
